Referral Procedures

The two most common ways referrals are handled are either directly from you, the referring agent, or through the Referrals-USA network and affiliations

Direct Contact:

A Direct contact means that you have selected and contacted the receiving agent directly.

Fill out all of the information of your prospective referral, including the best time to contact, as well as all of the information of the Receiving Agent and Brokerage firm. Make certain that you include all the contact numbers, fax numbers and the email address.

Considering that YOU, the referring agent have already come to an agreement, you can send the referral form directly to the receiving agent. You can either have them return the executed form to you or to Referrals-USA. Make certain that a copy is faxed or emailed to Referrals-USA.

If you request that the referral form is to be sent back to Referrals-USA, it is important to let us know. Upon receipt, a copy will be sent to you for your files. Remember, unless otherwise directed, we will consider a direct referral contact as someone that you have already sent the referral form to.

Referrals-USA Contact

This means that you are requesting Referrals-USA to find a receiving agent for your referral.

In this instance, you must complete the referral form out and submit it to Referrals-USA.

Referrals-USA will contact a receiving agent/office either in the area that the prospective referral is located (listing) or selecting to move (buying).

A referral fee will be negotiated and the form will be completed and faxed or emailed over to the receiving office for confirmation signature.

Referrals-USA will send you a completed copy which will give you the receiving agent's information so you can stay in contact with them.

It is important to note, that even if the agent performs both sides of the transaction, such as selling the referred client his or her own listing, the referral will only be paid on the side you referred.
